'Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour' Coming to Nintendo Switch
Along with a limited-time discount.
Confirming previous leaks of a port for the game, Gearbox Software and Sonka have now confirmed that the ’90s classic Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour is now arriving on Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite.
Arriving on Nintendo’s eShop June 23, there’ll also be a limited-time discount until July 7, lowering the price from $10 USD to $5 USD. If you’re unfamiliar with the game, Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour is a remaster of the original Duke Nukem 3D first released in 1996, a first-person shooter where you play as Duke, a muscle-bound gunslinger who goes around fighting off hordes of alien invaders. Aside from the “True 3D” remastering that the game received, the title is also getting Switch-specific features, such as motion controls, HD Rumble, and gyroscopic aiming support. You can even play co-op mode for the campaign with up to eight players via Nintendo Switch Online.
For the classic gaming fans out there, Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour is now available for pre-purchase over at Nintendo’s eShop, at a discounted price of $5 USD.
