As the third member of Nike Sportswear‘s “Team Tones” pack alongside “Brazil” and “University Red” makeups, the Dunk Low SP “Champ Colors” offers an undeniably appealing heritage style. Taking on the signature orange and blue hues of the Syracuse Orangemen, the “Champ Colors” serves as an alternate nod to one of the seven collegiate squads included in 1985’s influential “Be True To Your School” Dunk pack.
Quarters, collars, tongues, throats and toeboxes alike are all dressed in a vibrant orange tone. This is contrasted by rich dark navy shades on the mudguard, eyestays, Swooshes, and heels. More Nike branding appears on the fabric tongue tag and embroidered heel tab. Down below, a white midsole and navy blue outsole with a famous traction pattern also present on the Air Jordan 1 complete the look.
The Nike Dunk Low SP “Champ Colors” is set for a global release at retailers like atmos and Nike SNKRS on June 24, and is priced at $100 USD. However, this release may be delayed: the aforementioned Dunk Low “University Red” has been postponed until July in the United States, so the “Champ Colors” may very well follow suit.
