Dior Announces Release Info For Air Jordan 1 High/Low OG and Air Dior Capsule
Detailing its pop-in and pop-up store release plan.

Initially revealed at Kim Jones‘ Fall 2020 men’s show in Miami, the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High/Low OG and accompanying Air Dior capsule has been on the radar of the footwear and fashion world for quite some time now. Today the French Luxury fashion house finally offered release info for the limited-edition collaborative sneakers and range of ready-to-wear and accessories.
According to Dior, both the high-top and low-top Air Jordan 1 OGs will be released via an exclusive online experience. On a microsite (to be shared at a later date) individuals will be able to register for a guaranteed opportunity to buy one pair of the shoes. The registration will ask for a preferred model, a pop-in store or pop-up pickup location and size. Each participant can only select one boutique and register once for the desired style and size. Additionally, the collaborative release will be exclusively available for purchase in selected Dior pop-ups and pop-in stores by registering on the digital microsite.
Dior will contact selected customers via SMS or email shortly after verification of eligibility. A unique QR code with the individual’s name will be issued and matching government-issued ID will be required at the time of purchase. Each boutique will be allocated a limited number of sneakers for sale under a first-come, first-served basis to customers that acquire the guaranteed opportunity before inventory is exhausted.
The accompanying Air Dior capsule will be available at pop-in stores from July and at two pop-up stores located inside the Selfridges Corner Shop in London and Taikoo Li in Chengdu. The special experiences will be clad in the colors of the Dior x Air Jordan 1 OG and celebrate the art of sharing and discovery. Each space blends the lightness and elegance of glass with the delicacy of wood and natural materials while evoking the elusive and captivating nature of air. The pop-ups will also showcase each step in crafting the collaboration, highlighting the excellence of savoir-faire in Dior’s ateliers.
