YINYO Delivers His Bouncing Debut Track "Hard Hitter"
The Japanese artist touches on his life in quarantine.
Emerging artist YINYO recently delivered his debut track “Hard Hitter” with an accompanying quarantine visual. Produced by Tjani, the first single sees YINYO move between English and his native tongue over the bouncy instrumental. Leading with an infectious chorus, the Japanese artist taps his braggadocious side, boasting about the things that surround him.
The accompanying visual is co-directed by Aidan Cullen and features visuals done by Jimmy Regular of AWGE Media/Clocked Inc. Starting off with a clip in Tokyo’s Shin-itabashi station, the music video takes a turn after a station attendant scolds YINYO for being out. Heeding quarantine advice, YINYO proceeds to document the creation of “Hard Hitter” while showing glimpses of his life at home. The end of the visual is a Zoom call turned listening party with appearances from Benny Blanco, Travis “Taco” Bennett, Danielle Guizio, SG Lewis, Anwar Carrots, Nesrin Danan and more.
