The Sims 4 is going green. This summer, the popular simulation game will launch “Eco Lifestyle,” a new expansion pack allowing players to introduce environmentally-friendly practices into their Sims’ lives.

As part of the expansion pack, players will be able to explore Evergreen Harbor. The new area’s enviornment will be determined by players’ actions, as they can choose to keep the harbor free of pollution and garbage, or allow nature to thrive. The pack will also include new building options, as players can utilize environmentally-friendly and energy saving measures like solar planels when building their Sims’ homes. Sims will be able to purchase sustainably made furniture and upcycle their neighbors’ trash into new items.

With the Eco Lifestyle pack, Sims will be able to explore new careers like Freelance Crafter, where they can sell handmade items. The upgrade will allow Sims to engage in community organizing as well, such as rallying together to turn the local dump into a communal arts space.

The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle expansion pack is now availble to preorder from EA for PC and Xbox One for $39.99 USD. The pack will launch on June 5 and will also be available for Mac and PlayStation 4.

In other gaming news, Animal Crossing: New Horizons recently became the fastest selling Nintendo Switch game of all time.
