'Red Dead Redemption 2' Now Available With Xbox Game Pass

Alongside ‘DayZ’ and ‘Final Fantasy IX.’

Microsoft is giving one of its best Xbox Game Pass offers ever this month, providing titles like DayZ, Final Fantasy IX, and Rockstar GamesRed Dead Redemption 2.

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service will kick things off on May 7 by offering the open-world zombie survival title DayZ for free. That same day, subscribers will also be able to get Red Dead Redemption 2 free of charge. The title sees players take control of outlaw Arthur Morgan and his gang traversing the American frontier.

On May 14, players will gain access to Final Fantasy IX, the last Final Fantasy title to make it onto the original PlayStation. It follows the adventures of a kidnapped princess and a thief keeping her away from danger. Lastly, Xbox will offer an indie puzzle RPG called Fractured Minds that explores mental health issues and anxiety on May 19.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers in the U.S. and the U.K. will also get an extra perk with the addition of Spotify Premium free for six months. People outside of those two countries will only get three free months.

Purchase an Xbox Game Pass for consoles for $9.99 USD a month, or buy the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which includes library access for consoles and PC, for $14.99 USD a month. A beta version of Xbox Game Pass is also available for PC for $4.99 USD a month.
