HBO Max and Crunchyroll Partner on Lineup of Anime Streaming Titles

Ahead of the launch of HBO‘s streaming service, the premium television network has now partnered with Crunchyroll to add anime titles to its HBO Max catalog.
The partnership will add 17 anime titles at launch which includes Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Kill la Kill, Berserk and more. Those beloved series are just the latest in the lineup of originals and classic streaming content set to launch with HBO Max. Despite being delayed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, HBO is continuing to prepare for the launch of its streaming service which is already set to launch with a highly-anticipated Friends reunion.
HBO Max is set to debut May 27 and will be growing its anime catalog after its initial launch window with the addition of two more series – Hunter x Hunter and Death Note.
