Deb Never Drops New Lo-Fi Visuals for "our song"
Directed by Zhamak Fullad.
Deb Never has dropped brand new visuals for her latest track “our song.” Following her Kenny Beats-produced single “Stone Cold,” the new song is another mellowed out tune from her album Intermission and includes a hazy lo-fi music video directed by Zhamak Fullad.
Measuring at approximately two and a half minutes, the song embodies an echoing shoegaze feel that’s driven by quaint guitar riffs. Much of the song’s instrumental arrangements have been kept simple, placing most of the emphasis on Deb’s wistful vocals. Besides the scratchy guitar strumming, the track also comes with a few moments of faint, yet poignant licks mixed into the transitions, while expressive lyrics like “get too comfortable, get bent / Swimmin’ deep” and “burning faster than we had been / Running faster to nowhere” paint a slight vignette of the song’s melancholic undertone.
