For this week’s TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES installment, BROCKHAMPTON dropped off “fishbone” and the JPEGMAFIA-assisted cut, “chain on / hold me.”

Unlike its predecessors, Matt Champion takes a break from taking the lead on the two new tracks, with “fishbone” featuring input from Joba, bearface, Merlyn Wood, Dom McLennon, Kevin Abstract and Jabari Manwa. Meanwhile, the lengthy “chain on / hold me” cut hears the collaborative flow of JPEGMAFIA, Abstract and Joba, also sampling Wu-Tang Clan‘s “C.R.E.A.M.” and Gil Scott-Heron and Brian Jackson’s “We Almost Lost Detroit.”

Stream BROCKHAMPTON’s “fishbone” and “chain on / hold me” with JPEGMAFIA on YouTube.

Elsewhere in music, Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist lead this week’s Best New Tracks.
