BROCKHAMPTON Enlists JPEGMAFIA for New Track "chain on / hold me"
Shared alongside “fishbone” from this week’s ‘TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES’ series.
For this week’s TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES installment, BROCKHAMPTON dropped off “fishbone” and the JPEGMAFIA-assisted cut, “chain on / hold me.”
Unlike its predecessors, Matt Champion takes a break from taking the lead on the two new tracks, with “fishbone” featuring input from Joba, bearface, Merlyn Wood, Dom McLennon, Kevin Abstract and Jabari Manwa. Meanwhile, the lengthy “chain on / hold me” cut hears the collaborative flow of JPEGMAFIA, Abstract and Joba, also sampling Wu-Tang Clan‘s “C.R.E.A.M.” and Gil Scott-Heron and Brian Jackson’s “We Almost Lost Detroit.”
