Bell & Ross Captures a Head-up Display in New BR 03-92
Innovatively tapping its aviation heritage.
As a brand that found its origins in creating aircraft panel instruments for various military branches across the globe, French watchmaker Bell & Ross has now tapped its aviation heritage in a new, innovative way. This time around, the watch brand is looking beyond its traditional designs for a more modern, technological approach in its head-up display inspired limited-edition watch.
Tapping the iconic and highly-versatile 03-92 series, the company has now crafted a HUD edition that re-imagines the classic analog dial as a green holographic display. This is achieved through a green-tinted sapphire crystal sitting atop a black dial with green Super-Luminova markers, hands, numerals and indices as well as four large brackets to create the unique look. As usual, it’s powered by the brand’s in-house BR.302. automatic movement, boasting 100m of water-resistance, and a 42mm PVD-coated stainless steel case. Coming with the timepiece is a moisture-friendly black rubber strap as well as an aviation-inspired black synthetic fabric strap.
For those interested in Bell & Ross’ latest BR 03-92 HUD limited edition, it’s now available at select retailers for $3,990 USD. Head over to the company’s website to learn more now.
Elsewhere in watches, Urwerk has crafted a C-3PO-inspired UR-100 Gold.
