Jarreau Vandal Taps Kojey Radical and Gaidaa for Jazz-Fueled Single "Nothing Nice"
The latest offering the Soulection-affiliated producer.

Dutch producer Jarreau Vandal has teamed up with Kojey Radical and Gaidaa for a new single titled “Nothing Nice.” Vandal, an affiliate of Soulection who’s known to lay down a funky melding of hip-hop, dancehall, and electronic dance music, most recently delivered a slew of reworked songs in his Vandalized Edits Vol. I-IV, with his most recent solo project coming in the form of his 2018 debut mixtape, Anthology.
On “Nothing Nice,” Vandal sets the stage with a silky smooth backdrop, unleashing a variety of samples and instrumentation that deliver some tasteful jazz-fueled grooves. From velvety piano keys to subdued drums, the producer allows Radical to hone in on his lyrical prowess, with Gaidaa lending her graceful vocals to the track’s hook and various melodic bridges throughout.
