BEAMS' Military-Indebted Mizuno Wave Rider 10 Gets Wider Release
Its nylon, leather and webbing upper is covered in “Wood Ash/Flame Orange” tones.
BEAMS‘ exclusive Japan-only Mizuno Wave Rider 10 “Wood Ash/Flame Orange” is set for a wider release, after it was previously available as part of the imprint’s Kyoto store opening releases.
The sneaker adopts a utilitarian aesthetic, combining elements of hiking and retro running design cues throughout its design. Military and outdoor tones encompass the upper, giving the nylon and smooth leather materials a dusty shade of taupe and highlighting the 3M-equipped webbing components in “Flame Orange.”
Rubber has been used throughout the shoe for details such as the oversized tongue tag, while the signature Mizuno logo appears as a translucent overlay on the military-grade nylon upper. Completing the hiking-ready look are two sets of tubular laces, a shiny sock liner, and a technical sole unit.
Take a look at the BEAMS x Mizuno Wave Rider 10 “Wood Ash/Flame Orange” in the gallery above. It retails for $158 USD and can be purchased through the likes of Hanon’s raffle, which ends on May 22.
