Baauer Delivers Thunderous Single "Aether"
Off of the producer’s forthcoming ‘Planet’s Mad’ LP.
After debuting his album’s lead singles “Planet’s Mad” and “Magic” in a chaotic music video, “Harlem Shake” mastermind and bass music producer Baauer has delivered his latest single “Aether,” the third track off his sophomore album, Planet’s Mad.
Continuing to flex his penchant for genre-bending dancefloor wreckers, “Aether” is another riotous offering from the Philly native. As sci-fi-tinged synths initiate an elongated intro, Baauer delivers some menacing drum and bass vibes as the track opens into a thunderous bluster. The animated visual stays true to the previous releases for Planet’s Mad, whereby a rather hallucinatory experience comes front and center — everything from dinosaurs to off-world realms and flashing neon lights are showcased before displaying Baauer deejaying at an extra-terrestrial rave.
You can listen to “Aether” above. Planet’s Mad arrives on June 5 via LuckyMe.
