Following Dan Harmon‘s announcement last week regarding a reunion special for the comedy classic Community (which once again became a hit thanks to its arrival on Netflix recently), much anticipation has been built up by fans for the table read which is due to drop May 18. Luckily, you won’t have to wait that long to see your favorite community college study group get back together, thanks to Joel McHale and Ken Jeong‘s podcast The Darkest Timeline.

With its latest episode filmed just after the table read, the new installment brings together the core cast of the series via Zoom for an hour-long discussion of their experiences with the beloved show. Joining the two hosts is Community‘s creator Harmon, as well as Donald Glover, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, and Jim Rash. Reminiscing on their time together, Pudi commented: “What we made was so hilarious and I’m just so happy we got to do it again. And doing this show, it was a time in our life, it was just a special time.” Glover added: “That was really fun. I just feel like at the time, I felt like no one was watching us, which I think allowed us to be ourselves. It felt like I was in a room with my friends and we were just doing bits and playing around.”

The official table read reunion special will drop May 18. For now, check out their reunion on The Darkest Timeline in the video above.
