YSTRDY’S TMRRW has just released its Summer 2020 lookbook, highlighting a vibrant array of light layers for the balmy days of summer: comfortably-loose floral button-ups, linen trousers, striped T-shirts and a slew of slouchy carrying accessories. The seasonal range is a follow-up to the grunge and Americana-inspired SS20 collection seen back in January.
Cast against a light ivory-toned backdrop, the new lookbook showcases designer Kazuya Sugano’s affinity for rich patterns and pop colors as well as understated palettes. Intricate floral prints inform thin button-ups and shorts, cut with both loose and cropped proportions to create a modern style that still feels authentic to each silhouette’s traditional roots. Pieces like the olive bucket hat, dark purple striped long-sleeve, black carrot-cut linen slacks and patchwork checker shirt uphold the label’s mature aesthetic, while other garments like the bright cherry red graphic tee, sparkly gold belt and beachy shoulder pouches have been put into the mix for pleasant summery accents. Other pieces like snakeskin leather sandals, thin black headband and custom-painted porcelain round up the breezy warm weather styles.
The first delivery of YSTRDY’S TMRRW’s Summer 2020 collection is currently available on COVERCHORD website, with additional drops slated to land periodically until late May.
