Vans Celebrates Skateboarding Legend Jeff Grosso With Virtual Memorial
Featuring never-before-seen-footage and dedications from family and friends.
Vans paid tribute to the late Jeff Grosso with a virtual memorial, bringing together the skateboarding legend’s closest friends to celebrate his birthday.
Moderated by Chris Nieratko, the special ceremony features never-before-seen-footage of Grosso and personal video dedications from friends and family. The virtual memorial closes with a gathering that includes some of the most respected names in skateboarding, including Steve Van Doren, Loveletters to Skateboarding co-creators Rick Charnoski and Buddy Coan, John Lucero, Steve Olson, Steve Alba and Lizzie Armanto.
Grosso passed away on March 31 in Newport Beach, California. A cause of death or results from an autopsy are yet to be announced. He was 51.
