Taiwan's Emerging Bag Brand SEALSON Launches Versatile 2020 Bag Collection

Taiwan’s up-and-coming bag design label SEALSON has launched its 2020 campaign centered around the theme “nonidentity.” The brand emphasizes the interaction between daily life in the city and outdoor exploration, creating products that are compatible for both lifestyles. The new SEALSON series includes a range of versatile bags for everyday wear.
Asymmetrical cuts inform the 2020 collection, along with details and configurations that subvert traditional bag design. Besides the black Cordura fabric that has been used in past releases, an ultra-thin textured fabric called Dyneema is introduced to the new range. Key pieces include the water-resistant WB-S bags, which can be worn over the shoulder or around the waist. Available in both black and gray, the bag features a two-way zipper, quick-rip system and replaceable buckles. The H1 side bag boasts multiple exterior pockets and a side zip-up compartment for maximum utility.
This year’s campaign images feature hollow statues made of iron wire floating in the dark, showing what humans would look like if all emotion and self-awareness left their bodies. With its new collection, SEALSON depicts the “pure coldness and inorganic feeling” between the bag and the body.
