In an effort to support artists and galleries amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Taipei Dangdai will host its first-ever virtual art fair. Made in collaboration with Ocula, the digital presentation called Taipei Connections will feature 99 nternational exhibitors.

Among the participating dealers is Soka Art that will be presenting new sculptural works by Japanese, Brooklyn-based artist Meguru Yamaguchi. The artist maintains his wood cut-out technique for the new pieces. Vivid color gradients are also observed on the works that were spray-painted directly on the sculptural bases.

Taipei Connections will run through May 2-5 on Ocula’s website.
