Accompanying Louis Vuitton‘s seasonal monogram-rich accessories and home goods rollouts, the luxury titan has prepped another selection of branded items. This time, brand ambassador Kris Wu spotlights the special edition “Gaston Labels” collection, a brief array of accessories elevated with an homage to Gaston-Louis Vuitton, the grandson of Louis Vuitton’s founder.
Gaston was born in the late 19th century 1883 and curated an expansive collection of vintage luggage labels later in his life in line with Louis Vuitton’s origins as a bag manufacturer. These labels are reinterpreted for the modern day as embossed leather patches, offered in brown or black and situated atop Monogram Eclipse canvas. Function-oriented silhouettes including the Discovery Backpack, Discovery Bumbag, New Messenger MM and Pocket Organizer all feature the stylized accents, bolstered by attached D-rings, branded straps and matching leather trim and zipper pulls.
