JME Is Subject to a Botched Robbery in "This One" Music Video
Featuring cameos from Skepta and P Money.
JME has returned with the latest video from his fourth studio album, Grime MC. The visual for “This One” follows music videos for “You Watch Me,” “Issmad,” and “96 of my Life,” and was directed by frequent collaborator Matthew Walker, with cameos from Skepta, P Money, and Mehmet.
The Deeco-produced track is one of the most memorable on Grime MC, which employs a crawling bassline with some catchy video game-style synths that echo throughout. JME’s verses don’t slack either, with him offering up a slew of wordplay: “Man are out here aiming for the top like they’re actually a born shooter/Man are out here gunning for my spot with the accuracy of a Stormtrooper,” he raps. In the visual, JME is subject to a botched robbery, getting sold out by his posse in the process.
