BAPE STORE Hong Kong Celebrates 14th Anniversary With Graphic-Heavy Collection
Featuring new BABY MILO designs and “HKG” branding.
After releasing another capsule collection to commemorate the 15th anniversary of its New York City flagship store, BAPE is simultaneously celebrating its 14th year in Hong Kong. The brand has unveiled an anniversary collection centered around a purple, blue and black camouflage pattern associated with BAPE’s Hong Kong location.
Kicking off the collection is a selection of graphic-heavy tees featuring the brand’s signature motifs, like the APE HEAD and SHARK. Several Hong Kong-specific prints also inform the pieces, including brand-new BABY MILO designs and “HKG” branding —- a playful take on BAPE’s “WGM,” or “World Gone Mad” verbiage. Elsewhere, an all-over BAPE camo print covers zip-up hoodies, while knit sweat shorts boast a double shark print. Rounding out the collection are STA tees with “BAPE 14” emblazoned on the backs in large varsity font, as well as limited-edition camouflage phone cases for the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.
Beginning April 18, the 14th anniversary collection will be available at the Hong Kong BAPE STORE.
BAPE has enjoyed a busy few months in Asia, recently launching its store-in-store inside COMME des GARÇONS Osaka.
