50 Cent and Post Malone Drop Surprise "Tryna F*ck Me Over" Music Video
From 50 Cent’s 2015 project ‘The Kanan Tape.’
50 Cent and Post Malone return with a new visual for their 2015 collaborative track “Tryna F*ck Me Over,” out now courtesy of G-Unit Records.
The last we heard from 50, he was taking to social media to recruit artists for a new Pop Smoke album that he wanted to executive produce. Late last year, the G-Unit icon announced another executive production credit with the Black superhero television series Trill League. But actual musical releases have been a bit sporadic over the past couple of years and limited to select features. That shouldn’t come as a surprise given his recent $150 Million USD deal with Starz just months after the fifth season of Power ended.
“Tryna F*ck Me Over” is a vintage mid-2000s instrumental from Scoop DeVille, sampling The Beatnuts iconic “Off the Books”. It gives 50 Cent plenty of room to wax poetic about his haters lurking in the shadows posing as new friends. The video for the fourth track off 50’s The Kanan Tape uses plenty of CGI flame graphics, shots of bottle popping in the club and an intro that sees the two stars acting.
