ASICS' GEL-1090 Receives Understated "Triple Black" Makeover
Reworking the 2004 silhouette.
Starting at the top of the shoe is a rubber “GEL-1090” patch logo sewn at the tip of the tongue. Round laces are looped through smooth black leather eyelet panels that connect to large side stripes placed along the body. At the heel is “GEL” branding, followed by ASICS’ logo on the rear quarter. The rest of the upper is constructed in an intricate woven mesh fabric, offering extra breathability to the regal runner. All of these details sit atop a blacked-out midsole, equipped with essential GEL cushioning technology that’s been engineered to take in considerable mileage.
