After recently releasing in a special PE style for Chinese basketball superstar Guo Ailun, Jordan Brand‘s Air Jordan 34 Low is back in “Pure Platinum.” Boasting a stark, summer-ready look, this low-cut Air Jordan 34 is both crisp in its colorway and compelling in its technical construction.

Dressed in various synthetic white and grey shades, the design features semi-translucent quarter panels that reveal a volt insole. The difference in height between the AJ34 Low and its high-top counterpart isn’t extreme, but the Low separates itself with more padding around the collar. Elongated eyestays, tongues and heel tabs point skyward, with a lion’s share of the branding arriving via metallic silver Jumpman graphics on heel and tongue alike. Small pops of black on the eyelets, trim and forefoot offer a touch of dark contrast.

Down below, white Eclipse Plate technology provides a responsive, explosive court feel. This TPU structure encases a neon Zoom Air bag in the forefoot, somewhat reminiscent of the style used on the Air Jordan 34 “Black Cat” — another tonal makeup with bright neon embellishments. White outsoles with iridescent and volt accents alike complete the look.

The Air Jordan 34 Low “Pure Platinum” is available now on the Nike JP webstore, and retails for a tax-included price of ¥19,800 (approximately $184 USD).
