Recreate AFURI's Yuzu Shio Ramen With New Home Meal Kits
To satisfy those stay-at-home cravings.

AFURI has just launched home meal kits that let people recreate the restaurant’s signature Yuzu Shio ramen, a minimal, yet complex dish covered in our previous story. It’s a resourceful solution for those stuck at home, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, craving ramen and also for those craving the specific dish since all AFURI branches in Japan have been closed since April 4.
The meal kit is made up of homemade noodles, soups and all the key ingredients that make up the signature bowl. Those who know the dish well can look forward to the familiar taste of its chicken-seafood broth, freshly squeezed yuzu fruit juice from Kochi, large roasted char siu, bamboo shoots and other tasty essentials. All of it comes in vacuum-sealed packaging to maintain their freshness, and cooking instructions can be found on the restaurant’s website for a close recreation.
AFURI’s Yuzu Shio Ramen home meal kit is currently available on the restaurant’s website, ranging from $28 – $53 USD.
