Legendary tattoo artist BJ Betts is bringing the global tattoo community together to support charities that are working hard to make a difference during the coronavirus pandemic. Betts enlisted artists to contribute their own take on the words “KNOW HOPE,” all of which have been combined onto one limited edition T-shirt.

Available in black and white, the shirt is screenprinted with the artwork of 14 tattoo artists. On the front, artists like Mister Cartoon, Flaks and Betts create “KNOW HOPE” with sweeping lines or three-dimensional lettering, bringing their own style to the table. On the other hand, Big Meas, El Whyner, Big Sleeps and more decorate the back with bold script and heavy shading. All of the proceeds from the T-shirt sales will be split equally between three different charities: the American Red Cross, Direct Relief and the Salvation Army.

Take a closer look at how the T-shirts were made below. Retailing for $25 USD each, the shirts are available now on BJ Betts’ website.

In case you missed it, jeffstaple from HYPEBEAST Radio sat down with Mister Cartoon to break down his expansive career.
