Under Armour Preps Trek-Friendly UA Summit Collection
Designed with urban runners in mind.

Under Armour is making a push into urban adventure-wear with a new line of gear aimed at the urban runner, dubbed “UA Summit.” The collection is packed with performance clothing and new editions of the HOVR sneaker intended specifically for outdoor running.
With a host of goods offered for men and women alike, Under Armour aims to encourage a variety of amateur and professional runners alike to delve into the sporty range, with plenty of designs that naturally translate to casual-wear. Menswear includes a packable ripstop anorak, adjustable fleece pullover hoodie and a technical tie-dyed windbreaker crafted from a textile that returns infrared energy to the body to restore muscles. Heavy cotton sleeves are naturally suited for transitional weather, allowing the wearer to protect against chilly spring air on the go.
Anchoring the run-ready goods is a new set of HOVR sneakers, updating Under Armour’s HOVR Infinite with new styling and innovation that hybridizes function and style. Its Michelin outsole is both grippy and springy, empowering runners to transition from the trail to the street with ease, while Ventilation Plus tech grants the uppers extra breathability. A split-lace design and protective heel cage keep runners’ feet in place, promising to keep them on the road as long as possible.
The Summit gear and thematic HOVR sneakers are available on Under Armour’s site and at its global outposts. A second assortment will arrive in May, which will offer patterned garments and complementary footwear.
Plenty of stylish running gear is on the way from other sportswear providers, including GYAKUSOU’s latest seasonal capsule.
