ROKIT's Spring 2020 Lineup is a Nod to Youth Activism
Inspired by verbal protest and spoken-word poetry.

Following its collaborative eyewear capsule with AKILA from last month, ROKIT has returned with its Spring 2020 collection, highlighting an assemblage of graphic-heavy goods in a collage-tinged lookbook.
Dubbed “On The Road,” the lineup draws inspiration from spoken-word poetry, verbal protest and such figures as Gil Scott-Heron, delivering imagery that nod to youth activism. Tinged in the label’s signature colors of orange, black and purple, alongside other palettes like green, blue and yellow, many of the graphics in the collection sport positive political slogans. One noteworthy piece is a green and black T-shirt that reads “A Change Gonna Come 2020 Students Union” at the back. At the front, an arched “ROKIT” logo is placed over a faded print, underscored by the words “Visual Communications.”
Beyond the politically-driven pieces, another highlight is a short-sleeve button-up shirt that features an artful collage of bold motifs. The shirt comes with a semi-boxy fit, notched lapels, black buttons and a chest pocket, while images like the Sphinx, a set of candles, red polka dots and monochromatic photos enliven the piece. Other garments like a tactical vest, logo hoodies, nylon trousers, gym shorts and sunglasses round up the expansive range.
