Reebok & Charli Cohen Celebrate International Women's Day With Zig "Chasm" Pack
Exploring how cracks and imperfections lead to progress.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Reebok is teaming up with Charli Cohen for a two-sneaker pack that explores the concept of explosive energy. For the Zig “Chasm” pack, Cohen plays around with textures, looking at how destruction — seen through cracks and imperfections — is a requirement for evolution. Available in black and stucco colorways, the Zig Kineticas symbolize the breaking down of core institutions to pave way for progress.
“Change and progress comes out of chaos and hardship — on a personal level, our challenges make us stronger — and on a global level, we’ve seen this happen politically and culturally throughout history,” Cohen said. “Taking these ideas into the design, I incorporated cracked and destroyed textures, an off-beat lacing system and the ‘Restless’ graphic. I wanted to focus entirely on texture, which is why I opted for a triple black and a triple ecru.”

Designed with a layer of weathered, utility-focused material composite and a molded-mesh upper, each Zig Kinetica sneaker is constructed with an outsole that expands and contracts to provide a spring-like response, capturing the kinetic energy of each step. Each silhouette from the “Chasm” pack features Cohen’s signature orange thread and a bar code that leads to unique content from Cohen and Reebok.
