Pusha T Speaks on Three New Projects & Collabs With Madlib & Tyler, the Creator
2020 seems like a big year for King Push.
Pusha T shared some exciting news during a recent Discord AMA. The DAYTONA rapper revealed that he’s been working on three new projects, and even briefly touched on the highly-anticipated Madlib collab and a possibly new partnership with Tyler, the Creator.
After being asked when a new album is dropping, King Push answered that he’s “working on that right now.” He continued, “I’m actually working on three projects right now. So, you know, with everything that’s going on in the world right now, of course we’re not all together, but I’m well in on my next project. Well, well, well, well in on the project.” He also confirmed that any guest features on the album, at least as of the moment, are highly unlikely.
Later on in the AMA, the rapper briefly touched on the upcoming Madlib collaboration and plausible new work with Tyler. “We’re cooking. That’s really all I can really say about it,” Pusha said in regards to the Madlib collab. “With producers, to me, it’s like I’m going to school so he’s just like another teacher to me,” he added, also noting that we could see the project this 2020 and that they already have “a hard drive full of gems.” Meanwhile, for Tyler, Pusha shared that he worked on four or five out of nine beats the IGOR artist sent him, although he’s not sure where they’re going to end up.
