NEIGHBORHOOD's Specimen Research Laboratory Drops Gardening Essentials
Freshen up your greenery.

Last year, NEIGHBORHOOD‘s lifestyle label Specimen Research Laboratory unveiled a set of FW19 goods: a big storage container, towel and carabiner. With the first day of Spring just around the corner, the label has returned with a trio of gardening essentials to freshen up your greenery when warm weather arrives — a pressure sprayer, a set of soil scoopers and a pot.
First up is the pressure sprayer. It comes with a short, stubby build boasting a bright neon color with contrasting black accents. The top piece is mostly black, except fluorescent highlights that appear at the spray nozzle, top cap and grip handle. Appearing at the bottle is “NEIGHBORHOOD” and “SPECIMEN RESEARCH LABORATORY” branding, alongside pictorial instructions on how to use the device. As a final note, “1.5 LITER” and “3.4 PINTS” is placed at another side of the bottle, specifying the spray’s volume.
Next up is the soil scoop set, made in collaboration with OWL CRAFT. Each piece is made with sleek, durable, oil-resistant polyamide, often used in motorcycle parts and military helmets, and comes in a specific size. They range from narrow to wide shapes for handling an array of different plants but are consistent in their round-edged design across all three. To complete the details, the scoopers are marked with “SRL” at the front and have filters at the bottom that have been molded in the shape of the label’s “A” logo. Rounding up the botanical goods is the ceramic pot. Most of its design has been kept minimal, bearing a tall square silhouette and “PROPERTY OF SRL” branding as the finishing touch on the sleek piece.
All three pieces from Specimen Research Laboratory are currently available at NEIGHBORHOOD’s website, ranging from $18 – $75 USD.
