Last month, Nike delivered a regal “Gold Medal” iteration of the Air Max 97 as an homage to the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The American footwear giant is back with a brand new take on the silhouette, this time spicing things up with a hot “Chile Red/Magma Orange” colorway.

The uppermost section of the shoe boasts a clean black shade. It comes detailed with striped pull tabs at two ends of the collars, complemented by a white mini-Swoosh at the tongue and two thick horizontal lines of tonal embroidery that wrap around the uppers — the tongue sees breathable mesh fabrics, round laces and bright yellow eyelets. At the lower half of the shoe are a row of contrasting overlays, starting with a thin, bright yellow outline, transitioning to a strip of orange, followed by a bold “Chile Red” accent at the bottom-most part of the shoe. Furthermore, a small Swoosh is placed at a small black midsection panel, while a translucent full-length Air sole unit at the midsole rounds up the colorway.

The Nike Air Max 97 “Chile Red/Magma Orange” is currently available at atmos’ website for $176 USD.
