KEYAH/BLU Drops Off Debut EP 'Sorry, I Forgot You Were Coming'
A promising entry from the South East London rapper.

Rising South East London rapper and singer KEYAH/BLU is making her official entrance with the release of her debut EP Sorry, I Forgot You Were Coming. Written and recorded mostly in her bedroom over the past 18 months, the project highlights her distinctive and genre-hopping take throughout six tracks.
The newcomer explains that her EP is a result of exploring different styles. Her inspiration, she claims, comes from “The usual. Sex, love and the omnipresent feeling that I’m wasting time.” She continues, “The project is really just about my own detachment, ups and downs with physical and emotional intimacy, and the spaces where I find a balance. All of the songs reference a different lover or experience. There are times I could have cared more, times I cared too much and times where I haven’t cared at all – something I feel rings true in all aspects of life.”
