Drake Surprises Fans With "When To Say When" & "Chicago Freestyle"
The first official releases of 2020 from the Canadian artist.
After being featured on several songs this year, Drake is now back with his first official releases of 2020. Surprising his fans, the Canadian artist dropped a dual visual for his new tracks “When To Say When” and “Chicago Freestyle.”
Originally revealed late last year, the June James produced track “When To Say When” sees Drake return to discussing his accomplishments. Throughout the song, Drake lists off scenes that are telling of the career-high he maintains. An abrupt transition moves into “Chicago Freestyle” which is led by a vocal cut from Giveon. The tittering instrumental serves as a base for Drake’s heavy bars that contrast his discussion on “When To Say When.” Drake uses his lyrics in a reflective manner to show how he’s learned from mistakes made in past relationships.
