Following up on an official look at the BLACK COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Waffle Racer 2 earlier this week, COMME des GARÇONS  gives us a peek at more impending collaborations with the Swoosh.

During the Japanese label’s runway show at Paris Fashion Week for FW2020, extravagant headwear and brightly-hued garments in avant-garde shapes undoubtedly stole the show. Yet, a few of the models also came down the catwalk donning unseen versions of Air Force 1 Mids in an all-white colorway, paired with CDG-branded socks.

Featuring the silhouette’s notable high-cut collar, this iteration of the AF1 appears to incorporate padding on the ankle strap, with protruding overlays along the throat. This isn’t the first time CDG has put its spin on the classic sneaker as it teamed up Nike and Supreme back in 2018 on the “Split Swoosh” design.

Thus far, none of the runway photographers have provided better imagery of the sneakers, but shots from the showroom and presentation attendees provide a closer look at the forthcoming kicks..

In other sneaker news, get a closer look at the women’s Off-White™ x Air Jordan 4.
