Back in November, KAPITAL released a set of bold bandana-clad Navy Marine boots. Now the Japanese label has returned, this time with a new high-cut, suede-tinged silhouette — a pair of olive suede Dessert Smiley Boots.

Set atop a lush light olive foundation, supple nubuck fabrics enliven the rugged moccasins, offering a vintage military-inspired look and feel. Starting at the top, the shoe boasts slightly articulated collars, curving down near the laces above the upper half of the body. It sees thick seams at the heel, followed by a bright yellow leather smiley motif that covers the rear quarter as well as the heel counter. The front of the piece sees a moccasin toebox, complemented by a thin leather welt that sits below. All of these features are placed above a creamy beige, semi-translucent crepe midsole, a sticky wedge that offers optimal grip and traction.

The KAPITAL Olive Dessert Smiley Boots are currently available at KAPITAL’s website for $486 USD.

For other high-top footwear, check out Dr. Martens’ Gradient-Tarta-clad 1460 Boot.
