Teejayx6 Takes it Back to His City for New "On Tour" Music Video
Lensed in Detroit.
Following the release of his single “New Scheme,” rapper Teejayx6 is back with new visuals for his song “On Tour,” taking to the frayed backdrops of his home city of Detroit.
Clocking in at a little over two minutes and a half, the song is tinged in a hazy midtempo groove filled with crisp drums and lush synth arrangements — courtesy of production by Undefined and Haze. Teejayx6 comes through with a flurry of scam-rap bars, illustrating how he keeps to his daily grind, penning lyrics like “Scamming for a hunnit really just a petty hustle / Bury all my money before I die need a shovel” or “Two thousand for the sauce another band for the ingredients / Let’s talk about the present time, the sh*t you did was previous.” Towards the end of the video, Teejayx6 shows off his custom “Limited edition black forces” that he mentions in the hook of the song one last time before stepping out of the frame as the track fades out.
