LRG and Chip Tha Ripper Come Together for Collaborative Collection
Featuring graphics from artist Nicholas Mayfield.

So-Cal based clothing label LRG has tapped hip-hop artist Chip Tha Ripper for a collection of collaborative pieces. Lending his irreverent perspective to a series of hoodies and T-shirts, the Cleveland-native worked with visual artist Nicholas Mayfield to bring his vision to life.
The Chip Tha Ripper x LRG capsule features a series of graphics that pay homage to Chip’s journey from Ohio to traveling the world as a performer. The Homeland Research T-shirt, for example, is adorned in a graphic by Mayfield that shows Chip going all around the globe and returning to his hometown. The Feel Good T-shirt is inspired by the musician’s 2009 single of the same name while the Rap 4 Sale T-shirt depicts the spirit of getting lifted and making music. On the Rap 4 Sale hoodie, a reflective logo represents the many faces of one’s ancestors who guide life’s journey. The print’s reflection is a symbol of the ancestors coming to life and lighting the journey ahead. Accompanying the drop, LRG released a behind-the-scenes video of the collection shoot.
