Childish Major Balances Love and Insecurities in New "Wife You" Music Video
The third release of the year from the Atlanta rapper-producer.
Childish Major isn’t holding back in the early goings of 2020. The GRAMMY-nominated musician returns with his third offering of the year, a new visual for his single “Wife You,” a mature track that explores themes of insecurities in growing relationships. The music video cuts between a marriage ceremony and searching for love in the wrong place: a strip club.
“This is a song that explores the balance between insecurities and valid questioning,” Childish explained in a recent press release. “Am I secure enough to be with this woman knowing her previous/current ways?”
Childish kicked off 2020 with the feel-good track “Dem Know” featuring dancehall artist BEAM. The song was produced and engineered by the Atlanta rapper, showcasing his ever-growing artistic chops. Then in February, he debuted “Shallow Dimes”, an acoustic and addicting melodic sonic offering that continued Childish Major’s introspective lovelorn themes.
