SUNNEI Unveils VALEXTRA "EXTRAMILANO" Bag Collab Inspired by Russian Dolls
Ranging from weekenders to wallets.
Luxury Italian labels SUNNEI and VALEXTRA have come together to release a line of unisex leather bags and accessories for Fall 2020.
The collection was previously spotted during SUNNEI’s Milan Fashion Week runway show in January, delivering the first look at VALEXTRA’s upcoming collaborative line “EXTRAMILANO,” in which it will also team up with Carolina Castiglioni’s PLAN C, Arthur Arbesser, JJ Martin’s La Double J and more.

For this collaboration, SUNNEI has taken VALEXTRA’s staple Passepartout tote and reimagined it as a weekender, a wallet and more, spanning numerous sizes and colorways. As SUNNEI states, the collection seeks “the perfect balance between expertise and creativity,” and does so using a variety of luxurious leathers, unique striped paneling and layering techniques.
Furthermore, SUNNEI took inspiration from traditional matryoshka nesting dolls for its collection, meaning that all of the bags neatly fit inside each other from weekender to wallet. Take a look at the SUNNEI x VALEXTRA “EXTRAMILANO” collection in the gallery above, and expect the pieces to drop at VALEXTRA boutiques sometime this June. It is reported that only ten of each bag will be available to purchase.
