Rema & Rvssian Link for Dancehall-Heavy "Beamer (Bad Boys)" Single & Visual
The Nigerian singer-rapper has also shared another track titled “Rainbow.”
Nigerian singer and rapper Rema has overtaken the music industry by storm over the past year, spreading his kaleidoscopic take on afrobeat across the globe. In 2019 he dropped off his highly-anticipated Bad Commando EP as well as finding himself on Barack Obama’s 2019 Summer Playlist, inevitably becoming one of HYPEBEAST’s Best New Artists in Fall of 2019. Now returning from his promising year, Rema is back, kicking off the decade with two new singles: “Rainbow” and “Beamer (Bad Boys)” featuring Rvssian, the latter of which has also received a music video treatment.
On the two tracks, the 19-year-old continues to showcase his riotous take on afrobeat and trap infusion, rapping and singing out lyrics in his characteristically-sultry manner. For “Beamer (Bad Boys),” Rema has tapped legendary Jamaican producer Rvssian, who offers up a dancehall-heavy beat for the artist to glide over. Staying true to his style, the newly released visual for the track sees the Nigerian singer-rapper lusting over females as he flaunts his designer tastes and luxury cars.
