PORTER Freestyle Delivers Hybrid Leather Collection Using "World's Strongest Fiber"
Dyneema is a ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene that is 15-times stronger than steel.

Celebrating its 85th year in business, longstanding Japanese bag-maker YOSHIDA & Co. updates its PORTER Freestyle line with an all-new hybrid leather collection.
The selection of bags — ranging from small wallets and card cases to waist bags and over the shoulder bags — are built with a blend of traditional cowhide leather and a plastic leather-like material called Dyneema, a ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene that is 15-times stronger than steel and said to be the “world’s strongest fiber.” Together, these two materials produce a nearly indestructible bonded leather that looks a bit like crinkled paper.
With color choices of black, blue and brown, PORTER’s Freestyle Dyneema Bonded Leather Collection is set to launch later this summer. You can stay informed on all YOSHIDA news at yoshidakaban.com.
