Shinola's Bronze Monster Channels Prohibition-Era Rum Runners
Taking it back to the 1920s.
Shinola‘s latest automatic watch pays tribute to the daring rum runners of the prohibition era in the United States. The stealthy bronze and black colorway is a nod towards the moving of brown barrels on Michigan waterways during the night.
The 43mm case houses Shinola’s 26-jewel SW200-1 automatic movement and sees minutes, hours, seconds, and a date window at the 4 o’clock position. The watch also features a 38-hour power reserve and is water-resistant up to 300 meters. Pried at $1,650 USD, the Shinola Bronze Monster comes with both a leather strap and a khaki nylon strap.
