A$AP Twelvyy Drops New Trap-Tinged Track, "Gunpla"
Produced by Menoh Beats.
Following this year’s Yams Day, event, A$AP Mob member A$AP Twelvyy has unveiled his latest single “Gunpla,” a nocturnal trap-tinged yammer produced by Menoh Beats.
Clocking in at a little over two minutes and a half, the track is laced with tinny chimes, muffled 808s and crisp snares as hazy autotune vocals by Twelvyy blend seamlessly over the ghoulish instrumentals. The rapper comes through with notable quotes in some verses, like “Call me 12 o’clock/Twelve like f*ck the cops” or “Black like Static Shock /Always on the block,” while returning to a catchy hook with lines like, “Used to the gunpla/Sunday to Sunday.” With the recent string of singles being put out, including this one, some are speculating that a new sophomore album from the Harlem rapper will be releasing soon.
