Nike LeBron 17 Low Debuts In Space Jam-Inspired "Tune Squad" Colorway
Complete with a furry Bugs Bunny Swoosh.

NBA All-Star Weekend may be mere days away while Space Jam 2 isn’t set to hit theaters till next summer, but both are converging on LeBron James‘s and Nike‘s brand-new LeBron 17 Low “Tune Squad.” The inaugural colorway of the King’s latest low-top model, the “Tune Squad” style offers performance technology and thoughtful details in equal measures.
Dressed in the Tune Squad’s white, blue and red color scheme, this low-cut LeBron 17 uses a sturdy white mesh base overlaid with white leather pieces — straight on the lateral side, pointed on the medial side. These provide a continuation of the crown detailing from the high-top LeBron 17’s collar. All the bold edges are played up further by a semi-translucent blue plastic heel clip, while blue eyestays are used to hold the red laces in place.
The most notable accent is provided by the midfoot Swoosh, which is fitted with shaggy grey fur for a nod to the Tune Squad’s biggest star: Bugs Bunny. This soft Swoosh is rimmed with red and blue trim, more of which is present on the heel tab and asymmetrical stripe that runs up the throat. Further branded hits take up residence on the heel and inner tongue, the former of which proffer’s LeBron’s crown logo in a tilted cartoon style, the latter a “What’s Up, Doc?” embroidered badge.
Finally, the midsole mixes a React foam forefoot with an Air Max heel for a soft feel. Unlike the LeBron 16 Low, this is in line with previous low-top LeBron releases, which often discard the cushioning set-up of their high-top counterparts in favor of a feel that’s more supple than responsive.
The Nike LeBron 17 Low “Tune Squad” will release at retailers like Afew and Foot Locker on February 15, retailing for $160 USD.
