Rare Hot Wheels Chevrolet Camaro Expected to Be Worth Over $100K USD
Reported to be one of the original 16 Hot Wheels cars produced by Mattel.
Pawn Stars‘ toy expert Joel Magee has sourced an original Mattel-produced Hot Wheels Chevrolet Camaro model that is expected to be worth over $100,000 USD.
The pricetag — which as Carscoops reports is more than four times the price of a real-life 2020 Camaro — is the result of this model being one of the original 16 Hot Wheels cars produced by Mattel. Furthermore, the rare offering is a prototype thanks to its white enamel coating, which was used to check toys for imperfections.
It is reported that the Hot Wheels car was found amongst various others — albeit much less rare — and is expected to be the third rarest model in existence according to Magee, who also believes it could be the only one of its kind.
