HBO Has Dropped the Official Trailer for 'Westworld' Season 3
“Free will is not free.”
HBO has released the official trailer for Westworld season 3, showcasing life outside of the title’s simulated parks and introducing viewers to the real world. In the footage above, we see the artificial Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) have successfully made it into a new life in the futuristic real world. Aaron Paul will join this season as a mysterious new character ready to take down a common enemy with Dolores. As a result of escape, however, Maeve (Thandie Newton) is recruited by Vincent Cassel‘s new character to track down and kill Dolores.
Scored behind composer Ramin Djawadi’s piano cover of Guns N’ Roses‘ “Sweet Child of Mine,” the show seems to be heading into a new direction following the finale of season 2, which is poised to get into some big picture plot points as Dolores looks to trade her old world for a new one.
Check out the trailer above, and catch Westworld season 3 when it debuts on March 15.
