Converse Chuck Taylor Gets Wicker-Inspired Update With Colorful Woven Detail
A picnic on your feet.

Converse is bringing the picnic vibes to your feet with its latest round of Chuck Taylors. The brand has recently dropped off a duo of woven high-tops that are reminiscent of classic wicker baskets, though the sturdy material’s usual sandy tones have been swapped out for a more vibrant array of colors on the splashy pairs of sneakers.
Released in two pink-based iterations, Converse has offered both an intensive fuchsia version and a pale pink edition to suffice multiple ends of the spectrum. While the shoe’s upper does share a weaving design similar to that of wicker or rattan products, the rigid textures that one might endure when handling them won’t be a problem thanks to the 100% satin shell on the kicks. Elsewhere, they’re fitted with a contrasting white rubber sole for a signature Chuck Taylor base and the brand’s round logo patch is applied to the medial to finish it all off.
Converse’s Chuck Taylor Woven High-Tops are priced at $99 USD per pair, and both the bright pink and light pink colorways are available to shop now at Browns’ webstore.
