SZA Drops Acoustic Home Performance of New Singles "Hit Different" and "Good Days"
A holiday gift from the songstress.
After sharing teasers on Instagram, SZA finally released the acoustic home performances of her latest singles “Hit Different” and “Good Days.”
Performed by the TDE signee and Carter Lang, the medley clocks in at just under five minutes and sees the songstress in bed with her dog. SZA is accompanied by nothing more than a simple electric piano backdrop, allowing listeners to really focus on the beauty of her voice and the raw emotions that come with it.
“Hit Different” was originally dropped in September 2020 and featured Ty Dolla $ign and production from The Neptunes. “Good Days,” on the other hand, released on Christmas Day with additional vocals from Jacob Collier. The two new cuts are expected to appear on SZA’s forthcoming Ctrl followup album, however news of a release date and other specifics are yet to be shared. For now, fans can enjoy the majesty of her vocals with these acoustic performances.
Elsewhere in music, Travis Scott’s “SICKO MODE” surpassed 2 billion streams to become his most-streamed song ever.
