Crowd-less basketball action is set to return later this month and Nike Sportswear is celebrating by launching a brand new footwear capsule that is overtly inspired by the Brooklyn Nets‘ Classic Edition uniforms. The ultra-vibrant tie-dye threads — which were sported for only a single season in 1990-91 when the team was based in New Jersey — are being morphed into footwear form via two iconic Nike models: the Air Force 1 Low and Nike Blazer Mid ‘77 Vintage.

The lower profiled iteration splashes the vintage-inspired blue and white patterns to the toe boxes and quarter paneling, all the while being neighbored by throat, lateral and medial overlays that opt for an angelic finish. In addition, more doses of matching blues spill onto the tongues, heightened heel panels and midsole branding, while a subtle pop of red outlines the Swooshes. Below, the outsole arrives manufactured with a translucent exterior.

Its release sibling, the high-cut Blazer, is slightly louder in appearance as the aforementioned jersey graphics are utilized in all-over fashion across the entire upper. Swooshes and embroidered “Nike” lettering color-block through electrifying hits of bright red. Down under, the midsole is painted with a clean white skin, and comes completed with full blue treading.

Nike SNKRS will be releasing both options on December 12 for $120 USD.

In case you missed it, official images of Matthew M Williams’ Nike Zoom MMW 4 silhouette have surfaced.
